This Gouache painting celebrates the magnificent Coral Bush ( Cockies tongue ) that profusely flowers in Janeen’s Garden every spring. A hardy West Australia native botanical that blooms in abundance, it is a dense bush with an abundance of red coral pea shaped flowers that resemble a Cockatoo"s tongue. 
Painted in Gouache paint on 300gsm textured watercolour paper, it has beautiful shades of reds and Corals with variations of green in the leaves and seed pods with a stand out background of Blues reflecting our cloudless Western Astralian Skies.
