Janeen is intrigued by the shape, colour and texture of Banksia's. This is an intuative painting where she has mixed shades of blue with Micaceous Iron ixide to add a sparkle to the Canvas. Sometimes Janeen just paints for for the sheer joy of creating with no result in mind. Often not knowing what the outcome will be is the most exciting part of the process.
 
This painting was created for Janeen's latest Exhibition BIOPHILIA - 'For the love of nature' which was held in her coastal outdoor Garden Gallery at Sunset beach in September 2023.
